GeForce 6100 onboard....

This is stupid but I just want to make sure, because I'm planning on upgrading. The onboard geforce 6100 or 6150 is better then my FX5500 right?....higher core clock and support for shader model 3.0.. Because when I do upgrade I plan on using the onboard until I save up for a better gfx card. Another question is what kind of graphics can I expect? better then the FX5500 I have in my sig?

Well, I wouldn't say the onboard will be better than your 5500, I have had a 5200 and it has wasted any onboard video that I have ever used. Also, the onboard will use up some of the computer's memory. No matter what, I'd upgrade the vid card as soon as possible.

Ummm well both are very outdated better to get a 6600Gt or 7300Gt or something

I know, and I'm saving gfx card later on....I'm in no hurry. I'm just asking if the 6100 will perform better then my FX5500 because of the higher core clock and support for shader model 3.0...
