how do i identify my mother board

u can either check on the bottom of your mobo for a manufacturs name and a mobo type under that, or u can download a freeware program called sandra or everest these will give u all the info about your pc

i mean like what am i lookign for numbers? words? sorry i am not sure how to figure out what is what?

go download cpuz http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php run the program and it will tell you exactly what motherboard you have. Assuming you computer is up and running.
