wow well there isnt much response in the other section of the forums about this problem...first off on my computer it says under memory it says dual channel capable, so my mobo cant be a 754 socket which a geek squad member told me that it is a 754 socket...I used cpuz and it verified my socket to be a 939, http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=124192 (proof). Also is dual channel based on the cpu's capability or the ram capability? I mean I wouldnt need to post this if I could actually open my computer and find the socket type for myself...but if I open it my warranty for this computer is gone. Thanks guys
