when to buy a graphics card

I am going to buy either the 7600gt or the 7900gs/gt

I was wondering wether to wait untill dx10 comes out, so that the prices drop or just buy now?

maybe in like a year or two but no i don't see myself upgrading to dx10 because i probobly won't get Vista for a year

I say get the 7900GT KO right now then. They're very abundant and low priced right now, can't see them getting too much lower.

But if you want to play DX10 games like UT2007 etc you will find it difficult with DX9 cards. I would say if you desperately need to get a cheaper card now and then get the R600 ATi when it comes out.
