Unable to start windows...even in safe mode

Do a repair install, see if that works, if not, hopefully you had a back up of all your important documents/programs. You'll have to reformat, then reinstall.

I reinstalled windows...everything appears fine, but I just did a chkdsk and it has been "checking" for about 2 hours, which is longer than normal. I hope this is because CHKDSK is also rpring...
