Pentium 4 + Netburst is finally dying...

it's been what, 7 years since the Pentium 4 was introduced? it replaced the Pentium 3 in a hurry... even though the Pentium 3's were initially outperforming the Pentium 4's.

and now it seems Intel has crawled back to the Pentium 3 Architecture, redesigned and shipped as the Core 2 Duo...

Pentium 4's are from 2001, so 5 years old.

Back in 1999, I remember the "Celeron" and "Pentium 3". They were so slow...

Yes the Pentium class of chips as a whole are going to the grave now that Intel has the VIIV and its Core 2 Duo
