Cache

Can some one tell me if it's possible for cache to become corrupt? I have a feeling mine is because my computer only remembers IE passwords until I turn my computer off. Is this possible to happen? If so, can it be fixed and how?

Not quite sure if that is a cache error necissarly, but I dont see why you would want IE to remember all of your passwords anyway as this is a huge security problem. If this is the only thing that is noticably wrong then i doubt it has anything to do with your cache memory...

i thought cache was volatile anyway??

It is volitile, but that doesnt keep errors from happening in the memory itself.
