new laptop help

Hey i need a laptop for school and gaming.
my price range is betwee 1000-1500, for the gaming i want a card good enought to play Far cry, hl2,annd all the new games that come out. id ratehr get 2gb of ram, cos i usually run a lot of programs at once, for 2 gb i do not mind paying up to 2k.

I just bought this laptop with an extra gig of memory. Very nice laptop, very fast and ABS is a great brand. Just instal the extra stick of memory and you'll have one heck of a laptop that's right in your price range.
The big thing with laptops is the graphics, it's tough to find good stuff built in. This thing comes with an x1600 with 256mb dedicated so it's definitely able to handle games well. Also it's pretty thin and light. I really lke mine a lot.

It will run most new games but not all. Its imposible to get a laptop that will run all games.
