odd lag when not doing anything, help!!1

this lag just started today, the mouse stops moving for like 1/4 second, then jumps to where it should be. my hard drive is 8 gigs from being full, could that be the problem? its driving me nuts! as im typing this, it stops every once in a while then catches up to where it should be. its bad in bf2 also

dude i have the same problem too..lol i get lag from playing music..its kinda funny cuz it goes all slow-mo...well yeah if i do anything (like right then) it sometimes lags a bit too..i think i have the same problem as u

Hard drive being almost full doesn't have to do with it, have you tried restarting?

well sorry to hijack this thread..but for me it happens everytime im on my computer..
