Windows theme startup problem...

Whenever Windows startsup my Windows XP theme gets changed to classic or something similar to it. Everytime I have to go to Themes menu and change it. Can somebody please help me, I don't want to install a reinstall windows.

I think someone had the same problem..it was F-Secure causing this..

Do you have F-Secure or any security application running?

It might be a UXtheme registry or a sort of setting, if not the file is corrupted.

Can you get the WinXP theme after the log in?

I am guessing this is a home computer not a work computer. Is this the only setting that changes? If this is the only one i would agree with lhuser. It sounds weird though. Have you done any registry changes?

I downloaded a custom theme program then uninstalled it and now I have this problem. I tried changing the Luna theme in Windows folder but that didn't cut it.

The theme program probably deleted your Windows themes.

Repair Windows XP.
