I have a proc question

i want to put this proc in my 754 mobo. yes it 754 lol. im not upgrading until i completely have to. right now i have a AMD 3000 in it and it has lasted 3 years through a bunch of games. but now i am noticing lag in call of duty 2. and no its not my ram or gpu. i have a gig of ram and a overclocked gainward 6800. i played throughout the whole game but once i got to the american campaigns it started lagging.

bottom line- SO OEM means proc only, no heatsink right??? i dont need a heatsink, i already have one.

Yes, OEM is "white box" processor only. I personally like those better but many of the newer AMDs are hard to find OEM.
