Someone please help!!

Im getting my bits today to build a new pc (first time).

I'm gonna be getting the Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard with Intel Dual Core E6400 with EVGA 7900GT KO SUPERCLOCKED.

Do all PSU's fit every mobo or is there different ones?

Plus, is 500w about right?

Please help!!

Thanks
Matt

Well, newer boards like yours will need a 24-pin PSU. With your system, a good 600W would be a good buy. Get some branded PSU as they are working better than cheap ones (Not necessarily meaning it's crap and won't work after a year, but branded PSUs tend to do the job...not in my case)

How much I am I looking at for a decent 600w psu?

When I was reading the description on overclockers it was talking about only being compatible with v2.0 or v2.2 motherboards?

You can get a 700 Quad 12V rail OCZ Gameextreme for like 140.

Excellent deal. That PSU will last a long time.
