Steam and Reformatting

When I reformat windows and redownload steam, all my games will be there but what about all the maps and skins I have downloaded. Will they be there or just the standard files?

yes, all your games wil be there but u will have to download all of the updates and the original maps should be there, but the extra maps like surf maps u will have to re download.

What about skins and sounds?

well, the updates should take care of that. unless u downloaded mods, those will be gone mostlikely
