user gone

this is an irgent request
i was installing a new modem and had to reboot my computer
and when i get to the walkome screen there is no user to select
please help

Tried booting into Safe Mode? (F8)

Tried a windows repair From Disc?

Take out the modem, reboot, see if that works, if not, reboot press F8 if you can choose last known good configuration that worked (I think you can press F8 again to get that choice) if not, boot into safe mode, uninstall the driver for the modem, reboot into regular windows.

press ctrl alt delete twice to see if you can log into the local built in admin account
