For the whole computer, I'd say something like $100, $150 maybe, depending on the hardware you have.

its a dell, thats all i know its about 4 years old maybe

ok its a windows 95, intel inside pentium 2, model Dimension xps d266
so its older that 4 years

From what I can find, I would sell it, or go with the first idea (blow it up). It's not really much of a 'gaming rig' unless you want to upgrade just about everything in the computer.

and is there anything i should take out thats somewhat valueable?

Before you try and blow it up, call around to used computer stores, see what they'll give you for it, make sure you keep the harddrives, so you can use them for extra storage and media backup.
