My BIOS is driving me crazy I need help.

I have 2x512 corsair value ram sticks which are installed in dual channel mode. Now if I want to run my ram and max speeds wich I guess is 400 mhz what do I set my memory speed at in the BIOS. I set it and 400 mhz and cpuz said my sticks are running at like 220 mhz and is I set it to 200 mhz it say it running at 160 mhz. What is going on?

is one of ur ram 400mhz and ur other one 200mhz?

Well, set it in the BIOS at 400. Since it's DUAL data rate Ram, 200x2 or 220x2 is the real calculations. It's always double the speed, so it's normal.

They are both the same. Ok if I open cpuz and look at the memory frequency what sould it say if I have two 512x3200 sticks in dual channel mode if I want them to run at max speed.
