Good company on the motherboard, I'm going to be using a DFI mobo in my next build. I would go with an AMD AM2 setup if you wanted to "future-proof" your system. I'm no expert on RAM by anymeans, but if you decide to stick with Socket939, this RAM seems to be pretty popular and has good reviews on NewEgg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145449

My dad has the 2x1GB Corsair XMS. Very good RAM.

If you're not gaming, why in God's green earth would you buy a Crossfire motherboard???

Here's a LanParty for you, a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D:

i like that system trotter but i dont need a case and i plan on buying an ati hdtv tuner
and that memory is barely cheaper i might go with the 2gigs for 40bucks more

is that graphics card pretty good? any better for that price if not that looks good to me and ill just use the money i save to buy a couple more hard drives
how many hard drives can i hook up at once? will 4 of the ones trotter recommended work?

do you guys agree on the cpu? is that the best one for the price?
