try raising the voltage

first just try upping the clock multiplier, then if it works good, up the fsb until u figure out where it frezes at, and raise voltage first, then raise fsb, and ya should be good. (power=work done over time^_^, so more power=more work done in less time)

you cant change mult. on intel cpus, and yes you can easily oc that to 3.4, just take your time. remember to set memory dividers so your memory doesnt crap out on you. show us your idle and load temps as of right now.

just to let you know, via chipset is not known for their overclockability. :/
