My friend is getting a new computer and I was wondering if the PSU would be good enoughto handle it.

CPU: E6600
GPU: XFX 520MHz 7900GT
RAM: 2x 1GB Corsair 6400 XMS
HDD: 250GB Seagate SATA 8mb cache
MOBO: Gigabyte 965P - S3
CASE: Thermaltake Jnr Armour Black, with a 430W Thermaltake PSU

What I have noticed is that the 12 volt rail is 18A? Seems could maybe be pushing it, what do you think?

yeah i thought so, well i'll do this then, i'll recommend him my PSU hahah, the ANtec 500W Smartpower 2.0. It's a beauty, what do you guys reckon?

P.S. I had a generic PSU that was making my computer restart in games, replaced it and all good.

i have a 500w Ultra x connect PSU with 38amps on just one rail. the good part was that it only cost me 40$ and it came with a 40$ mail in rebate. so hopefully it will be free. the rebate still hasnt came yet.

my psu should be good enough for 2x7900 in sli.
