i had to restore my computer yesteday cuz it wasnt working right, like it wasnt starting up right. I have done this before with past computer and picked the restore option that saves all data files, only restores computer settings.
However, after restoring i found that it deleted all my data files, it was like a "destructive restore" even tho I know i dit NOT pick that option. This wasnt that big of a deal until i realized that my college entrace essay was also gone. I had worked hard on it for a month and it is due in 2 weeks. I dont have time to rush thru and do a sloppy job on it, so is there anyway to recover this file after a computer is restored??? Thank you for any help you can give me.
