NetGear Router

Hi, first post!

I'm having trouble installing my Netgear router RP614 V2 as i can't find the installation disk and netgear don't seem to have any kind of downloadable software other them a firmware update.

Can anyone here recommend what i can do?

Contact Netgear and see if you can get a replacement installation CD.

If you feel confident enough, hook up the router as if it was working (connect the modem and your computer), reboot your computer, open up internet explorer and type in either: www.routerlogin.com OR http://192.168.1.1

Either one of those will bring up the Netgear router's web based control panel and you can configure everything there.
Default username: admin
Default password: password (try it with no password if that doesn't work)


Otherwise like CrazeD said, call Netgear for a replacement CD.
