Read only attribute help

Hi.
I'm planning on transfering all data from one server to another. Both are 2003 server.
I've created 6 shared folders. These folders all have the read only attribute selected & its greyed out. I can un check the box, however it does not make the change and next time i view it its is set to read only.
Does anyone know how I can change this so that all my shares are not read only?

You'll have to change the share security.

Right click on the folders and select properties. Click on the sharing tab and then the Permissions button and change the permissions from read only to whatever you want. You may also need to change the permissions in the Security tab of the folder's properties (same window as when you clicked the sharing tab).

Try that out.

Thanks I changed the permissions on the share tab. That seemed to solve that problem.
