UPDATE: i got the window hole cut, and the plexi cut, the silicone is drying right now out back...bout another 45min on that, then im gonna take a few pics. i also found the adapter for the fan, ill take a pic of that too. next is to get the neon stick in there.

EDIT: also, wat did u cut urs with? i used a sawzall, tin snipps, hacksaw, jigsaw, dremil, and some sandpaper..oops almost forgot, i used a 6in grinder too

noooo, you copied me. see here: http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=120159&highlight=1+inch+or+2 and its an HP pavillion 7850. I just used a dremel with re-inforced cut off bits. And to sand i used coarse, medium and light emery cloth or metal sandpaper. Gotta paint the thing first which ill probally do this week after my dad finishs cleaning the garage from his capentry stuff that hes done.

EDIT: also it looks the exact same as your's does.

ill be damned...ha i guess i did, sorta. got about 15min left on the silicone to dry, gonna put it on, and take a few pics, then let it dry overnight in my closet

leavin it the standard grey then? im probally gonna apply some primer to my stuff tonight, not sure what to do about the bezel though, the grey will go black but not sure about the blueish seethrough front stuff.

hey, just pop that blue part off, and paint everything but the front part

nice, but just a thought, you probally shoulda fixed up the cut part with the paint before putting the plexi on. meaning where you cut, u can see the metal inside edge. which will be tricky to paint right now. But for me all my stuff is ready to be painted. as shown here:
