help!!!!!!! need pin diagrams

i'm puting a compal screen on a toshiba laptop but, the wires are different so i eather need a pin diagram or some place to buy an adapter(if they make those, do they?) i've tryed to find a web site to help me with this and have come up with nothing so....i turn to ya'll.

If I see it correct, you need a VGA to DVI connection...like this:

Correct me if I am wrong.

You will need to use the IMG tags, such as:

[IMG ] Your URL goes here [/IMG ]

Without the spaces in the tags.

these are the 2 female plugs(don't have the comper right now) the longer one is the one that i have to pug into the motherboard and the shorter one is the broken screen that was plugged in to the motherboard. hope that will help

see the plugs are almost the same except the extra bundle of wires on the com pal (broken) screen

I have never seen a monitor cable that looked anything like that. Even like computers that ran Windows 3.2 (or was it 3.5?) had VGA.
