Speaker buzzes

My audio ports are integrated.

I might as well test the speakers on some other device to see if it continues.

If it doesn't buzz then, I'll get a new sound card.
If it does buzz then...I'll get new speakers.

Can someone help me choose a soundcard?

Glad to see that reason has prevailed and you are taking the smart approach to trouble shooting this.

I personally have enjoyed my creative sound card and speakers, so I too endorce their products.

Well of course, for a company to have given a high competition approach towards the generic iPod with their own mp3, I'm fully endowed to their audio products.

some things to try first. unplug the speakers from the pc, does it still buzz? also, plug some headphones into where the speakers go, does those buzz? should find ur problem.

Thanks, I'll do that.

Should have started here to begin with, but...

What kind of speaker system is it, and how is it hooked up?

Can you eliminate sources like cell phones, fluorescent lighting, etc.?

Are there any changes when you try moving the speakers or connectors?

Is there another machine that you can plug the system into to determine if it is the sound system or the sound card?

Are you using a sound card or onboard audio?

And one last question...is this buzzing at a low frequency, and stays at this frequency and db?

What do you mean low frequency? I haven't tried anything yet, btw.

There aren't any changes when I move the speakers/ connectors.

It's an onboard audio.

It's a standard 2.0 speakers that came with my computer.
