This is strictly for gaming, high demanding games ie oblivion fear and all those awesome games this is my second build but im kind of out of ate so advice is wanted thanks!! I want to keep it below 1000 bucks, but i only need a new mobo, video card, processor, and ram.
For my video card i choose the nvidia 7900gt because i did my research and it out performed any other card in the race by 5-10 fps in all the games they tested:
BFG Tech BFGR79512GTOCE Geforce 7900GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail - 350$$

For a processor i went with the intel core 2 duo conroe because for the same reason it, out performed the others in the gaming charts:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600 - Retail - 360

For mobo i searched and finaly picked the asus because of great reviews and i used in the past and was really user friendly and easy to work with:
ASUS P5LD2 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail - 109

For ram i got because it was highly rated and a friend advised it:
