Hey all
I recently bought a 7800gt cheap for my new conroe rig, which i'm still waiting upon the motherboard for. Yesterday I came along a very cheap X1900XT

$429 AUD ($329 USD)
The reason why its so cheap is because it only has 256mb of ram opposed to 512mb, i checked out reviews on anandtech of this card.

It generally beats a 7900gt on stock (so i figure it would destroy my 7800gt) but it cannot overclock as well, which is perfectly fine as i wont be overclocking.
It shares all the features of a regular X1900XT only that it has 256mb of ram, which i've heard is still awesome if you don't run your games in massive resolutions. I probably want more power then my 7800gt as i will be upgrading to DX10, but most likely then 2nd gen cards as i don't have enough money at the moment. The cheapest i could get a 7900gt for is $390 AUS ($299 USD) but they're generic and i just don't trust them.
So the question is, do you guys think the X1900XT 256mb is a good card? I have no issue with selling the 7800gt and chipping in the extra dollars for what looks like an awesome card.
Thanks in advance.
