Before you bump this anymore, please try to reply to the posts that have asked questions..... Also, before trying anything else, I would suggest that you refer to the documentation that came with the items you bought... Setup is generally explained pretty well in most manuals.

yes. that is how stuff gets broken. hmm come to think about it, that cable u put to the mobo, the ide one....that could be causing the hdd prob, and a few other probs too

EDIT: ide= integrated DRIVE electronics....i dont beleive that that is a drive, so it would be sending the wrong commands, and possibly shorting stuff out. tho, thats y they got fuzes
