Citrix is a thin client which allows you to run applications you have
at work from anywhere in the world or on your local area network (LAN).

Citrix is useful ...since u can run more resourse hungry apps on a very low end machine ...
Also say u get disconnected of the network or somethin' like that .. ur app is still running as it was ..on the remote server.

Sounds like an orange to me.....:) :) J/K

Like preet2u said, Citrix is basically a way to remote control any PC or Server in your organization/home/job etc. The real benefit in Citrix is it's frugal use of resources while remotely connected. In other words, it works pretty fast especially when accross a WAN. (Anything could work ok in a LAN environment and totally suck when tried over the WAN (Wide Area Network)
