Well, I'm new here and I need help on wether my build is good or not. I will probably be ordering my parts sometime today or tomorrow and just wanted to know if they are any good. Here is my current list of parts I have chosen at newegg.
I'm trying to keep the price under $1500 USD without shipping since that's all I can afford atm. Just leave your feedback on wether I picked some good parts or any you would change. I don't know if the wireless adapter I picked is any good, so if anyone knows anything about those, feel free to change it. Thanks in advance.

Ok well why don't you go with AM2? That ram isn't compatible with the motherboard/cpu you chose. For that build you need regular DDR.

I asked someone if picking AM2 instead of 939 would be much of a difference and all I was told was that AM2 is newer and I won't see much difference. I know AM2 is the newest socket and it can run a different type of RAM (DDR2 I believe?) But anyways, if switching all the necessary parts to AM2 is possible, would I still be able to keep the price around $1500 USD?

Easily..and it uses better ram...

But also look above^

I kind of had everything set on AMD. From the time I started looking into building a comp, I didn't look into Intel alot. Is there a big performance difference? (I took alook at the benchmarks and see a pretty good performance) Would I be able to build a good budget computer similar to the one I have now?

If I decided to go Intel, what would I be getting that I wouldn't be getting if I went AMD?

I also have a few other questions, if someone wouldn't mind answering.
-If a mobo comes with onboard LAN, would I still need to buy a wireless adapter? Some mobos say like 10/100/1000 Mbps, I'm sorta confused
-Is the graphics card I choose pretty good? I haven't looked into any ATI cards, since I know more about nVIDIA. If there is any better ATI cards, please say so.

-increased performance.

mobos that have onboard LAN are talking about network cards.. its where you plug in your ethernet wire.. and those numbers are just speeds.. it means it supports all those speeds..

it has nothing to do with wireless. i'm guessing you want to connect to a wireless router wirelessly..? if you're into gaming and stuff, i don't recommend connecting wirelessly, try to conenct directly to the router..

yes, the 7900gt is pretty good.. but see if you can get an x1900xt for not much more $.. since your 7900gt is highly priced..

get the components that vaderpro listed..

but with this gpu instead :

once you add all the little parts you chose, you should come close to $1500 ..

there are cheaper, better cases than the one you chose...

you can also save some money by getting this PSU instead.. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817103931

how about just getting 1 DVD-RW? save some $

and why sooo many fans? i'm sure you won't need all that...

try it out.. after the rebates you'll come to under $1500, hopefully
