I have a little used Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 film scanner.
Now, when switching on and invoking the scanner software, the scanner will not initialise/calibrate. The Software hangs at the 'setting up' stage and the green light blinks forever. Eventually I get an error message 1 - error unknown.
Is this a hardware failure in the scanner or is there another solution?
