tip

change motherboard or video cards

hmm...so would you recommend changing the mobo or get 2 new video cards and if so any suggestions ??

its an appian dual port jeronimo pro .... pretty old ... from what I can see they no longer make them

I'd like to keep it to under 1200.... may be time to upgrade the old card ... 2 Nvidia GeForce 7600GS possibly??

if its that old then its most likely AGP and will not fit on most new motherboards

yeah they would work...and with that budget you should go with a core2 duo setup

dollar for dollar -the present components with the new Nvidia cards how would it size up to a core2 duo setup ... always been weary of being a 'test rat" on new tech gear and finding out later its laden with problems
