I have a diamondmax 10 160GB SATA drive.
It doesnt allow me to write to it with the nforce3 chipset on my asrock mobo.
I've tried everything possible to try to get it to work even the obvious scenarios.
It works fine in a VIA Unichrome K8M800 Chipset based mobo.
So i was wondering would me getting a VIA chipset based controller pci card sort out this issue?
Or are there better controllers, i dont want to spend alot of money on this but i did see one on ebay for a tenner.
The drive is for extra storage by the way.
Thanks
