I need an AM2 in here now as that was getting over 10000mb/sec in sandra apparently
where is emo kid when we need him! lol:p

hrmm... what is the benefits of having such high memory bandwidth anyway?

Just in general your system will respond faster because it pulls stuff off the memory faster. Assuming you have sufficient memory space, it will increase your load times

wow... then your computer must load insanely fast...

hrmm... well any suggestions on how to increase my bandwidth.. could i try lowering my timing?

OK gaara, I decided to humor you :)

First, let me say, I hate my RAM. I tried saving a few bucks and thought it would be OK, but its crap. Reading XS, I seem to be lucky that I can run these sticks 400 1:1. I am wishing I would of spent the extra bucks and gone with the HZ's. :(

@General, send me your HZ's and I will take this punk down!!!! :p

@gaara, stock vdimm for DDR2 ranges from ~ 1.8 - 2.2. Cheaper 533/667 will usually be 1.8. More enthusiast type sticks, DDR2-800 etc, might be more like 2.0 - 2.2. Mine are stock 2.1 @ DDR2-800.

gaara i'll keep your first post up to date for you, updated with the newer version of the table you posted further down the page
What about me? :p

1) gaara - 8069mb/sec - 1GB DDR1-624 2.5-4-3-8 1T 2.7vdimm
2) idiotec - 7224mb/sec - 2GB DDR2-880 4-5-4-15 ?T ?vdimm
3) The General - 6782mb/sec - 2GB DDR2-756 4-4-4-12 ?T ?vdimm
4) PZEROFGH - 6774mb/sec - 2GB DDR1-507 3-3-2-5 1T 2.7vdimm
5) NosBoost300 - 6458mb/sec - 2GB DDR1-500 3-4-4-8 1T ?vdimm
6) Vybuni - 6267mb/sec - 2GB DDR1-420 2.5-3-2-0 1T 2.8vdimm
7) joshd - 4192mb/sec - 1GB DDR2-400 3-3-3-8 ?T 1.8vdimm

this is using SANDRA 2005 with memory running DDR500@2-2-2-5@3.5v, with 1T command rate. running high vdimm because the chips can take it and i didn't want to bother with having the system crash until i get the right vdimm.

i may try a suicide at DDR520 because i want to climb that list a little :D watch out The General ;)

Meh. 0noz!!1 teh bandw!dteh is teh exc33d3d me banw!dteh !!!11!1

Anyway, nothing I can do will change anything.

400x9/1:1 = doesn't post.
400x8/1:1 = posts
425x8/1:1 = posts, but bandwidth is lower than 400!

All this combined with the fact that I know 0 about memory bandwidth and timings probably isn't helping.
