posiitive vs. negative ?

i need to know if brown is lik white and if black is blue or visversa
all this is starting to confuse me

ya i got this thing to work i took another adapter cutt wires open then took the brown cable attached it to white one and the blue attached with the black

but theres another problem seems lik theres not enough power goin through the system because the lights are very low, disc changer wont move or even open wat the h*** is goin on !!!

What wires did you cut... and I think black = brown and white = blue.

never mind problem solved it was set to 240v it sould of been 120v

black is positive, white is neutral and green is ground. technically speaking white and green are really the same thing. in the A/C world.

it will work wired backwards, but that is not a good thing.

i was asking about the blue/brown
anyway i found a solution
i connected the brown with the white and the blue with black
work fine
