Disabling Ctrl+Alt+S System Info

Hi all,

whenever I press Ctrl+Alt+S it brings up a system window. It really bugs me because I keep accidentally pressing the key combination in games, and it ends up crashing them. Does anyone know a way to temporarily disable the shortcut without doing anything dodgy like editing the registry etc.? Thanks.

What do you mean by system window???

I am guessing that you are referring the program system information that is found under start->programs->accessories->system tools->system information. If this is the case you can go to that shortcut and right click->properties. When the properties box loads there will be a field that states "shortcut key" and it should read ctrl+alt+s, just delete that and you will be good to go!

EDIT: I just read the title again and realized that you were talking about this.

Sorry for being so vague. The window was entitled "Compaq Support Information". But I searched for the shortcut and disabled the shortcut key as you said above, and now it's stopped popping up. So thanks for your help!
