Overclocking 7900GT

General, that is really sshhhwweeet !!! I upped my voltage to 1.392 and I can only get as high as 660, but I run it slower. Maybe I should go to 1.5

To jcortez, IMO Coolbits is easier, but ATI Tool has more features w/ greater flexability.

ATI tool was like "wtf no ATi card? NO WAI! features is disabled."

And the yellow dots were showing up in a grid, so I doubt they were artifacts. I don't see them in games at all. I'm over it.

well, those in the screen shot are definatly artifacts, even if they are in a grid. they are not mean to be in the ati tool display, and they have been identified by ati tool as artifacts.

if you dont see them in games, then i wouldnt worry though, to be honest.

to check more, 3dm06's "deep freeze" will locate any problems with the video memory, and google for "rthdribl" and that will pull up any problems as well.

Clocked back to 675/800 and I get no artifacts all night long. It's still running... and I'm at work. So that will give it a good 16 hours of testing.
