office xp problem

I was looking for a solution to a computer problem on the web, actually from my computer.

When i try to update Office XP, i get an error message:

Can you guys help me with this?

I saw the solution to the problem by Googleing, but it's through Experts Exchange, and costs $10 to view the solution to the problem...what a ripoff! I thought you guys would be a better value

are you using a burnt copy?...because this usually happens with pirated copies of the software

It's copied from a friend's real version of Office, i don't think that would affect anything.

I just don't wanna pay $10 to update it.
