OCZ Ram Problem

I just bought new 2x1gig OCZ Gold PC3200 Ram with 2-3-2-8 timings but on startup the timings are displayed as 2.5-3-3-8. I have latest bios,drivers etc so thats notthe problem. Anyone have any idea whats wrong

just set the timinigs to the advertised ones, if that doesn't work send them back. the timings in the SPD table (table contains a set of timings for it to run at default at different frequencies) are not always the same as those advertised.

Should I set the timings directly from the BIOS or use something like A64Tweaker etc?

BIOS would be better, make sure to give it a good memtest as soon as possible

Set it manually,ran memtest and got a shitload of errors. WTF? I paid $250 for this ram

Ok so I set the BIOS settings to auto detect the timings and ran memtest and got no errors so the ram is fine. But the auto detect timings are 2.5-3-3-8 and 2T while the sticker on the RAM says 2/3/2/8
