It's native resolution is 1400x1050 also, would this monitor be good for gaming?

Yes, the monitor will work with the video card, and yes, it will look excellent with gaming. I couldn't find the response time (speed that images pass through), but i'm sure it's pretty good.

Looks like a great monitor to me. And yes, there's no reason why It won't be good for gaming...8ms response time is fine.
