I have this thing that underlines and highlights "key words" in all web pages. Normally it is for the word "car" but sometimes changes. If I pass over the word that is underlined, the text that pops up on the status bar below is:

HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/

and some other garbled stuff on the end of it. The help type pop-up reads, "click for more information about "car""

I hate it. I've tried Search & Destroy, Spyware Blaster...

Do a search on this site for Hi-Jack this. Also make sure that you have both Ad-Aware and Spybot updated.

I found the link for Hi-Jack this...downloaded, updated, ran, got the log file. (haven't done anything else with this)

Ran update on Spybot Search & Destroy...(none) ran it

Found the Ad-aware 6 download and downloaded it, ran the update, ran the scan, quarantined, killed...

I'm free!!!! I'm really free!

Perhaps you could post a link to the program Hi-Jack This if you could. I have run ad aware, and spybot and have removed many things but the underlined green link persists on my computer. This program seems like it has infact helped others and me and my friends all are in need of it!
