You know those restore discs that comp with a store bought computer? What do they do? My friend said that they were OS CDs. Could the CD be used like a regular OS cd, or is it only meant for that certain computer?
a restore CD usually either has an image of the operating system volume on it or is used to read the image off a hidden partition on hard disk. after the image is restored your OS and softwares are restored to factory condition. i made a poll whether i should make a "how to make restore CD" in the tutorial section....let me check back on that thread......
