Best brand of monitor?

My father recommend me buy philips, he say is cheap and good. So is Philips good?

yeah, Benq is a great deal... got myself one (right before the price drop

newegg has a deal on a samsung 20.1" widescreen for the price (after rebate) my benq was. and it has a faster response time (great for gaming)

Go for benq or samsung... great products for a great price

There are only 4 dominant LCD PANEL manufactuers worldwide...meaning, they make the panels which 100's of companies buy to build the monitor...

Au Optronics makes panels for Viewsonic, Benq, Fujitsu-Siemens, Acer...

The other big 3 are Samsung, LG-Phillips and CMO.
