Okay. so this summer I have been wokring and saving up some money so I got enough saved up, but i wanna spend a little bit of it on my pc. I wanted to knwo what you guys thought would be the best upgrade for me for around $200. Here are my specs.
-AMD Athlon 64 3000 s939
-Gigabyte GA-K8U-ULi mobo
-Asus 6600 AGP
-2x512 mb ram pc3200
-160GB Seagate IDE HDD, 8mb cache, 7200rpm
-Nec DVD Burner and Sony CD rom
-Raidmax 380watt psu
Since my mobo only has an AGP slot i kinda ahve two options, get the best AGP card out right now since they will stop making them soon, or buy a new mobo with pci-Express and get a new pci-Express videocard. Because I'm pretty satisfied with my rig except for my videocard, its holding me back, and im lagging a little in games like Doom 3 and HL2. So what do you guys think I should do for around $200. I was considering a good deal on this 7800GS AGP for only $205 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130046
but iono if it'd be a waste to stil buy an AGP card. What do you guys thinki I should do?
