just dont let your kids become computer geeks. then you can use a simple program to spy on them. they wont have a clue if you're spying on them if theyre not good at computer.

since they say there is no way to permanently delete files on the computer, how can i check to see what my kids are doing on the internet even if they attemp to erase the internet history.

Kids and teenagers know more than we adults do. When it comes to current technology the young seem to be the most saavy. You are going to have a difficult time controlling what they view. Education and an "Open Door" policy is probably best.

Some ISP's can record all the site's you've been to. Also if you have a router you can use that to record the history.

The best thing to do is move the computer to a common area in the home where they wont be alone on it.

ya I am 15, and my computer is smakc dab in the middle of all the house activity, But I I understand why they did that, and I cant disagree. I dont really care to look up all the porn crap on the computer. all it would do is get me in trouble I just hate having the computer here for 1) I always have to have the sound way down when playing games, 2) cant have anything out of place or my mom will clean it and I will never find it agina, and 3) cant do stuff like have my computer case opne for a long time, run dual monitors etc.

Yeah, my dad has the family computer right in the middle of everything, but my computer is upstairs We agreed on him checking the history on the router if I could have the internet in my room.
