Hello, I am working on upgrading my graphics card, and I am not sure if I am overkilling things here.
My current set up is:
3400+ AMD S754, 512L2
Biostar K8NHA Grand MB
GeForce FX5200 128MB Graphics card AGP
1GB PC3200 DDR 400 RAM
I am running this on a 915N samsung monitor.
I am looking into getting one of these,
the BFG 6800 GS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143045
or one of these 7800 GSs

What i do know know, if getting the higher priced ones would be an over kill to my system or not.
I know that the graphics card is currently the bottleneck, and I want to bring it up to speed so that I can play games again. Looking into games like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare, AOE3, Oblivion, etc.
I will locate a power supply that will work once I know what type of graphics card I should get. should I get one of those? or a 7600 GS? too many choices and I have no clue about how to tell if things are bottlenecked or not. Basically I don't want my graphics card to be the bottleneck anymore. but I don't want to drop too much into the system either, since I am only planning on keeping it for maybe another year or two before I do a complete overhall.
So what do your guys think?
Thanks for reading!
