Hi, I'm thinking of getting:

Gigabyte 8I945P-G (Socket LGA775) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-049-GI)

Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-126-IN)

Along with some DDR2 66MHz RAM.

Is that a good combination or is there a better motherboard in the same price range?

Also what is the difference between the GA-8I945P-G-RH and the GA-8I945P-G igabyte models?

it is a very bad combination, i think you need to read this page:

it does not even support the processor. it's not as simple as just grabbing a motherboard with the same socket with Intel, you must make sure the BIOS/Chipset supports the processor as well
