Hello everyone, I have a AMD 3200+ with a 7900gt Ko. I was just wondering if its true that my CPU cant handle the graphic card?

If so which CPU is affordable, good, and will last for a long time?

Buying a more expensive motherboard will it be a better performer? If so how?

Is that the Athlon 64 3200+, or the 64 X2 3200+?

theres no such thing as a X2 3200+, the X2's start at 3800+

i dont think there would be any problem, is there anything going wrong in games?

there is no X2 3200+

and yes, the CPU will limit performance a lot of the time...

I'm in the same boat.
I have a Sempron 2800+ at 2.0GHZ
and I also have a 7900 GT, which I've overclocked to 750MHZ

but, as far as actually playing games, it depends on the game itself.

I play Generals a fair bit, and my CPU is a bottleneck especially against 4 or more hard enemies

it'll run half life 2 on max settings without lag though.

also, my 3dmark05 score is being crippled by my CPU. I get about 8300.
I should be getting over 10,000
especially with my card overclocked at 750MHZ
