Heat sink help

So putting in the mobo and processor was a piece of cake. Now I have this heatsink/fan sitting on the processor and I have no idea how to install it. There's a bar that runs through it, each side has a clip and the right side has this swinging plastic piece. I can pull the bar to the right and then snap the left clip under a screw, and then I assume I have to push the bar to the left to snap the right clip under the right screw... it takes a lot of pressure and I don't want to break anything... I don't think I should have to use this much force, so I assume I'm doing something wrong. Only some ambiguous pictures were included (I was hoping AMD would be have a better "manual" but I guess not).

yea AMD heatsinks are hard to secure i did the same thing just apply "A LOT" of force and it should secure.

i had the same problem, it was my first build an i thought that i was crushing the cpu. it should be fine though.
