okay, so i bought some distilled water today, but then left it in my friends truck. but then i have some anti-freeze in my moms trunk in the car.should i wait for the distilled water or is anti-freeze good enough to fill my empty systeM?

i just read that you can use mostly distilled water, then use anti-freeze, which acts like a additive, since its supposed to stop corrosion in race cars and whatnot.

well I guess your right about that, all cars use anti-freeze. BI thought coputers were more tempermentel then car cooling system.

k so im going to use 9:1 ratio of distilled to antifreeze (not going to buy any more coolant, its probly all the same stuff and i dont need colors

it really doesnt matter.... antifreeze allows the heat to be removed more easily by your radiator but it causes the fluid to hold less heat than pure water so.... its a trade off.
